Mid-Atlantic Foam: The Beginning of Quality Mid-Atlantic Foam: The Beginning of Quality In 1980, Mid-Atlantic Foam opened in Fredericksburg, Virginia, to fill the needs of the northeast and Mid-Atlantic states. In 2009 a second manufacturing facility was purchased in Winchester, Virginia to service a growing customer base. Mid-Atlantic was developed to expand the base of Georgia Foam Inc. Together they have grown into a leading manufacturer and supplier.
Mid-Atlantic Foam’s focus has been the manufacturing and distribution of products that are utilized by construction professionals. The company’s products have supported the commercial roofing market and Exterior Insulation Finish Systems (EIFS) for decades. In the 1990s, to meet the evolving needs of the construction industry, the company established itself as an innovative leader in supplying Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) to both the commercial and residential markets. This innovation extended to other industries as indicated with products for geotechnical applications and a patented insulated system for vinyl siding. In addition to construction products packaging and fabrication are growing markets.
